Radiant floor heating consists of long tube filled with hot water encircling the entire sub-floor space from wall to wall. The hot water circulates non-stop in the long tubing and keeps the floor warm. We recommend tile covering for the floor to maximize the heat transference to the surface above the tubing. Wood flooring is possible too, but it is less efficient in keeping the space above heated.
Once installed, radiant heating requires no maintenance. It is unparalleled in comfort to any other heating system. It is efficient with no heat loss. It is economical to run, as the hot water flow constantly, circulating from the hot water tank and back to the tank.
Radiant heating turns your entire floor to a giant radiator. The heat is at your feet, and the rest of your body is comfortably warm, without being directly heated.
